Throughout the day we will focus on the importance of building support networks, leveraging community to build your business, the importance of community for support and growth, and taking care of ourselves in the quest for the elusive work-life harmony critical to entrepreneurial success!

WELCOME: Heidi Solomon-Orlick, Founder of the Women’s Impact Network, Co-Founder of the podcast series “Making of HERstory” and global BPO business executive.

KEYNOTE: Tiffany Eddy, Founder Tiffany Eddy & Associates, and Smart Strong and Sassy: “The Art of Connection” Yes, You CAN be Smart Strong Sassy!

Tiffany Eddy is on a mission to make a difference. After nearly 20 years as a broadcast journalist, she left the news industry for more time with her kids and to launch Tiffany Eddy and Associates, a full-service PR and media company. Seven years later, Tiffany missed helping people and sharing their stories, so she launched Smart Strong Sassy; Sharing is Strength. This new venture seeks to inspire women and girls and really everyone, by helping them share their stories. Her belief is that we are all in this together.

MORNING SESSION: The Art of the Pitch: 5 Businesses (Apply here to be considered)present their business concept and plans to the audience and a panel of local experts to receive feedback.

Facilitated by Laura Miller, President of Making Matters NH, the feedback panel will include The Center for Women and Enterprise, Leslie Sturgeon founder of Women Inspiring Women, Mark Lester of Eastern Bank, Jamie Simchik of Simchik Planning & Development and the founder of HRKNESS Cowork and Heidi Solomon-Orlick of Women’s Impact Network. All participants will have an opportunity to receive feedback from the audience and the panel of experts.

The winner will be awarded a $1,000 prize funded through a grant from the NH Women’s Foundation.

LUNCH: Celebrate International Women’s Day with a buffet of international treats (vegan and gluten free options available) During lunch you will also have an opportunity to network with business support services such as the Center for Women and Enterprise, SCORE, SBA, Making Matters and More!

AFTERNOON KICKOFF: Charlene Ignites DeCesare… The Art of Sales!

While sales also includes science, there is an art to successfully building a business that is true to the helper in you. Whether you are an entrepreneur with an established business, or you are building a personal brand while still working a j.o.b., this talk will energize you and give you artful takeaways that you can use right away.

Charlene “Ignites” DeCesare has been a trusted advisor to leaders and organizations around the world for more than 25 years. As CEO of Charlene Ignites, LLC and Founder of Firewalk Sales, she specializes in making sales fun and easy for all involved. Prior to building her own brand, Charlene helped grow several successful businesses, ranging in size from start up to multibillion-dollar organizations. Charlene has a B.S. in Communications from Emerson College and an M.B.A. in Sales & Marketing from Rivier University. She is a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association, a Nationally Certified Brain-Based Success Coach, and a Certified Sales Leader (CSL). AFTERNOON SESSION: The Art of Creativity! Presented by Lisa Stockwell of It’s Your Journey.

Our personal story is influenced through the unpredictable encounters between our own internal nature, passions and the outside influences we must contend with. Along the journey, sometimes we forget our inherent wholeness and potential. This creative experiential workshop invites you to tap into your strengths, intuition and wisdom. The result is a deeper self-knowledge, balance and wholeness. You will leave this session with a vision for how you can maintain a growth mindset, build your entrepreneurial success and create work/life balance and harmony.
