Entrepreneurs, educators, and community and business leaders are joining forces to bring a makerspace to the Concord region that will serve existing and aspiring inventors, artists, and entrepreneurs. The mission of Making Matters NH is to develop a safe, fun and collaborative space supporting makers of all ages and skill-sets coming together to teach, learn, create, explore and prosper. We are creating a strong and sustainable organization that contributes to Concord’s regional economy and builds a more vibrant community.
Along with offering shared access to tools that may be out of reach for the casual hobbyist or budding craftsman, Making Matters NH will serve as an incubator for the small businesses and entrepreneurs that are driving New Hampshire’s future. The organization will offer classes and workshops for small businesses and entrepreneurs and a space for networking and collaboration that will make the Concord region an ideal place to start and grow a business in today’s evolving and innovative economy.
Making Matters NH incorporated June 1, 2018 with Board members: Vice-President Gary Miller, Treasurer Jared Reynolds, Secretary Sandra May, Directors Chelsea Bailey, and Jessica Livingston. “We are so very excited to be working with such a diverse group of people to develop a new community resource” said Board President, Laura Miller, “Making Matters is going to be a game changer for Concord’s quality of life!”
